We used to have it. Once upon a time, Red Bluff was THE town to visit.
There were events, the people were friendly, relatable and loving small town life. Things were going pretty well for many people and it was largely safe. But that’s not been the case for a long time. Not for as long as I’ve been alive. For as long as I’ve known Red Bluff (20 years) it’s been known for corruption, crime, meth addiction and human trafficking. But it doesn’t need to be that way. We can change it.
Having a booming legal cannabis industry in a prime centralized location like Red Bluff can be a huge tourism boost. People like to tour farms and manufacturing plants. They like to go to events where smoking is allowed, they like to see products and shop new stores. We can offer that.
Sure, it’s not going to be the Las Vegas of Cannabis. And I’m not sure anyone would want that. But, it is going to get less people to skip Red Bluff altogether. It will start to repair the damage that’s been done to our reputation. People will start to come back for more than just the rodeo. More people visiting means more money spent, and a better chance at getting new events and businesses.
